Kelsey + Jason // Gorgeous, Woodsy May Engagement Session // Andalusia, Alabama Wedding
Kelsey and Jason’s May engagement session was not one of those regular, run of the mill engagement sessions. We opted to hold their session at Matt’s parents’ land down in Florala, Alabama…the same land where Matt and I had our rehearsal dinner almost five years ago exactly. It is so very special to us, and there is a never-ending list of dreamy photo locations. I just had to share a few preview images from their session!!
Jason flew in all the way from California for their session, so we were absolutely thrilled that the weather cooperated just perfectly!! Matt drove us around the property on the Polaris, and we had a great little afternoon zipping through the woods and hanging out together. Just as we were leaving the pond, Matt mentioned us flipping the jon boat over and throwing it in the water to attempt a few shots in it. I was so impressed that Kelsey was immediately up for the challenge of climbing in an old, rusty, spidery boat. It was SO worth it.
This precious couple laughed their way through their session and were a true joy to photograph. I cannot wait to be a part of their wedding in October!!! Congratulations, Kelsey and Jason!!!
