FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
What types of photography do you offer?
While I am primarily focused on fine art portrait photography for children and families at this point in my career, I still offer most any photography service you may need! Some of my regular bookings still include outdoor/on-site children and family sessions, commercial or branding sessions, studio headshots, dance recital photos, maternity, birth, engagements and bridal sessions. Prior to opening my studio, I was a full-time wedding photographer for several years, so I still accept a limited number of weddings per year - especially if they are local! I would love to chat with you about anything you have in mind - just reach out!
What am I supposed to wear for my session?
I recommend my clients wear neutrals and/or pastels such as beige, shades of rose, pale blues, etc. For outdoor or on-site sessions, I will send you an email with some great visuals and ideas prior to your session. For studio or branding sessions, I will reach out prior to your session to discuss your entire vision to ensure that we fulfill it.
How long will it take until my photos are ready?
This is a question that cannot be answered the same for everyone and one that depends heavily on your particular session. As a rough estimate, most outdoor and on-site sessions have a processing time of 4-8 weeks. Studio session turnaround varies greatly. No matter the session type, I thoughtfully edit each and every one of your images to ensure that the scene is forever captured just as it was the day the photo was taken. This custom process is very important to me, as my goal is to produce art that will be cherished for years and years to come. If you have any additional questions about turnaround-time or would like to inquire about our rush options, please feel free to get in touch!
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, I do! For more information regarding gift certificates, visit the "Shop" tab.
Do you offer educational workshops or mentoring for aspiring photographers?
Yes! I offer a one-on-one mentoring program for photographers that covers an array of topics including website and social media critiques, the process of streamlining your workflow, technical camera and editing techniques, gear recommendations, perfecting your overall client experience, curating a polished portfolio, learning how to create authentic moments throughout your posing process, getting published and much more. If you are ready to take the next step in your business by investing in your education, I would love to hear from you! Mentoring starts at $600 per hour, depending on the nature of the selected curriculum.
Do you offer graphic design or social media management?
Not many know, but I do manage the website design, social media and marketing for a few local businesses. It is simply something I enjoy, and if we are a good fit, I would love to work with you! If you have a specific project in mind such as the creation of marketing materials for your business or simply the ongoing maintenance of your online presence, please reach out, and we can go from there!
